Lake Oswego LL 10U All Stars fell short to Cedar Mill, 6-5, in a closely matched game on Thursday night at the District Tournament.
Lake Oswego fought back from being down four runs in the top of the second, slowly chipping away at Cedar Mill’s lead, entering the sixth inning down 6-4. The boys kept battling, scoring one run in the inning, but left the tying run at third when a long flyball to right field was caught for the third out to end the game. The team should be very proud of their valiant comeback attempt. They played strong right up to the end.
Our All Stars are back in action tomorrow morning at 10:00 pm vs Wilsonville @ Sunset Park.
The winner of Saturday's game plays SW Portland LL on Sunday, June 26 @ 10:00 am.
All games for the 8-10 District All Star Tournament will be played at Sunset Park Sports Complex in Portland.
