Dear Lake Oswego Little League Families,
Happy New Year! We hope that you are all doing well and staying healthy. Please know that the Lake Oswego Little League Board is committed to offering a safe and much needed spring baseball season to the youth in our community.
As we await additional details on what will be available and required of LOLL to play ball this spring, we have delayed opening registration until the 2nd or 3rd week of January 2021. Please be on the lookout for an announcement stating when registration will be open.
All families should plan on our league being required to comply with ongoing precautions to prevent the spread of Covid-19. This will include face coverings at all times, frequent hand sanitizing, cleaning protocols and social distancing. The LOLL Safety Officer will offer details on this as we prepare to start the season based on the guidelines at that time.
I’d also like to remind everyone of how LOLL communicates its registration opportunities. We send emails to all players from the prior year. In addition, we use the LOLL website and Facebook page. Be sure to monitor these pathways for the exciting news to come.
Recognizing that many families are in a situation where finances could be an issue this year, T-Mobile and Little League are offering the T-Mobile Little League® Call Up Grant which is dedicated to helping families in need. LOLL also has a local scholarship program. This year it is sponsored by a few generous Lake Oswego families and businesses. If interested, please contact us at [email protected] for more information.
